# Revision Websites: A-Level Maths

Updated: Sep 12, 2020

If you're anything like me, you may have multiple tabs set up for revision websites, terrified that you might lose them forever because it takes you soooo long to find some good useful sources of revision.

Luckily for you, I have compiled a list of the most useful FREE revision sites for different subjects. Here's some for A-Level Maths!

1) https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/maths-revision/

Physics and Maths tutor is an absolutely amazing site. There are flashcards, past papers both from the new spec and the old spec (pre 2018 to use as even more practice) as well as organised topic tests with mark schemes again for ALL exams boards.

This sight really got me through A-level Maths especially when figuring out how to answer those tough questions that when you see at first, you don't even know what area of maths you need to use! The key to A-Level Maths is answering practice questions constantly from your exam board as well as different ones, so you are exposed to as many styles of questions as possible.

2) https://alevelmathsrevision.com/a-level-maths-revision-notes/

Here you will find a comprehensive set of notes. The handwriting might be a bit hard to read however it explains topics in detail and in a simple way to understand.

3) https://revisionmaths.com/advanced-level-level-maths-revision

Again some detailed notes and explanations of different maths topics. At one point I couldn't understand the compound angle formulas and this site really helped me out!

4) https://www.examsolutions.net/

Exam Solutions has exam questions and answers as well as video tutorials of each module of maths, specific to the exam board you are doing. Sometimes it is useful to hear someone else explain a topic you maybe struggling with so I would highly recommend checking them out!

Then of course you have the wonderful world of youtube where you can find hundreds of videos specific to the module and exam board you need e.g.

- SnapRevise

- Maths Explained

- Exam Solutions

- Geeth's Maths tutorials

These are some of my favourite sites and when used effectively, can prepare you for seeing those unusual style maths questions and picking up the marks where you can!
